Michael Hahn Leads Day 1B
Level - 14
Antes - 300
Blinds - 1,200/2,400
Entries - 118
Remaining - 26
The second of three Day 1 flights for the Belterra Main Event ended past midnight Saturday night after drawing 118 entrants. By the end of 13.5 levels just 26 players put chips in a bag, with Michael Hahn leading the field with 306,200.
Hahn caught a late heater during the last level and a half and chipped around 100,000 from the last break of the day. John Mingus, Dan Hummer, Nick Jivkov and All Hencheck all cracked the 200,000-chip mark.
Notables Greg Raymer, Ari Engel, Craig Casino and Kurt Jewell all played Saturday but failed to move on to Day 2.
A total of 37 players have qualified for Sunday's Day 2 and tournament organizers expect a large field for Saturday's final Day 1 flight. The action kicks off an hour earlier than the previous two days with cards hitting the air at 1 pm.
