A win, a 2nd and a 7th-place finish already this year has @NickPupillo54 on top of the @HPTpoker Season XV Player of the Year Leaderboard by a substantial margin.
Pupillo kicked off Season XV by winning the HPT Black Hawk Main Event in February for $194,478. he added a 16th place in East Chicago in May, back to Black hawk for a 7th-place finish in July, then was runner-up two weeks ago in St. Louis for an additional $98,195.
Nick Davidson - who began Season XV with a win here in East Chicago - is 2nd on the Leaderboard, followed by St. Louis winner Mike Shin, Lawrenceburg champ Greg Wood and in-today's-field May East Chicago champ Chris Moon, with January East Chicago runner-up Mike Sabbia just one-tenth of a point back of Moon.
