Dan Wagner climbed back from being an exceptionally short stack ... twice ... at the final table to win the April 2019 @HPTpoker Main Event @MeadowsCasino, earning $76,165 as he made a major comeback against Anthony McIe FTW.
Wagner needed every one of his five double-ups heads-up against McIe to climb back and capture the victory. Twice at the final table he was down to just 2BB and managed to survive, climb the pay ladder and get to that 5-doubles heads-up match.
The April $1,100 Main event drew a 345-entry field, its prize pool $334,650.
